What started as a mobile coffee trailer is in the process of evolving into a people-first mobile coffee cart.
The shift wasn’t about scaling back ambition—it was about getting back to the customer experience.
By trading a larger footprint for flexibility, the business will gain the ability to move with ease, and create more intimate and memorable moments over great coffee. The cart will allow for deeper connection—proof that sometimes growth doesn’t mean getting bigger, it means getting closer to what you feel like you set out to do.

Hi. We’re Groundswell, a mobile coffee bar in the Niagara region. We exist to serve you good coffee wherever you are. The coffee that we serve also happens to do good wherever it came from.

Our Story

I’m Kristie - a coffee lover that is committed to establishing a culture of experiencing specialty coffee in the Niagara region. I also happen to be a lover of people - that includes the people who produce the coffee we brew, the people we serve it to, and everyone in between.

To us coffee is a ritual, an experience, and a specialty product that we want to share with you.

That’s what Groundswell Coffee Company is all about — taking the time to source great coffee from thoughtful roasters and brew it with intention.

There is a growing movement towards consuming higher quality coffee sourced in more thoughtful ways. This is called specialty coffee.

At Groundswell we’re committed to partnering with industry leading roasters to bring the slow process, pour over coffee experience to wherever you are in the Niagara region.

Our roasting partners source their coffee beans from seasonal coffee regions around the world through carefully developed relationships with farmers and producers. Their meticulous roasting process crafts a specialty product that empowers us to serve you the best coffees we can find.

Our Location

In season, our mobile coffee bar can be found on weekends brewing coffee all over the Niagara region. Our coffee bar bring us to festivals, markets, events, and local shops. Follow us on Instagram to see where we are for the weekend.

Our Coffees

We carefully curate a selection of coffees each month from some of the most notable roasters in the industry. We only select coffees that excite us, while also ensuring that they are sourced and roasted intentionally. The coffees we choose to feature are treated with care along every point of the value chain, and we continue the journey by brewing them for you as skillfully as we can.
